The Why

Indecisiveness impacts roughly 1 in 5 adults, often stemming from anxiety, perfectionism, and low self-confidence. Indecisive people become overwhelmed by minor choices and ‘what if’ scenarios which can lead to exhausting mental blocks and poor overall well-being (Ferrari, 2021). In collaboration with a test target user, Drip was created to help create and organise everyday outfit choices, allowing users to maximise timeliness in their daily routines, reduce decision-induced stress, and boost confidence in their fashion sense.

Digital Solution

Users can upload images of their wardrobe items to easily build, save, and schedule outfits. Daily logs are utilised to enable users to track personal trends and learn about their style preferences. These wardrobe statistics are then summarised into weekly recaps and monthly sustainability reports for easy understanding. Fast fashion and overconsumption is a massive environmental and social issue, so it was important to prompt users to be conscious of their wardrobe usage.

Visual Identity

The visual identity of Drip is inspired by User X’s needs as well as their position as a member of Gen-Z. The logo is inspired by street-style aesthetics, reminiscent of current fashion trends. Additionally, the star motif represents guidance and individuality, strong themes that are relevant to discovering one’s personal style and gaining self-assurance. Drip’s colour palette is bright and bold, expressing its personality through playful confidence that invites energy and engagement.
