Alongside being a graphic designer, I'm a storyteller at heart, blending narratives into my designs.
I think its so important to think about design as not just visuals and aesthetics, but also as emotional experiences we have with the world and people around us. When I'm designing, I'm thinking about how my work can inspire others and create positive change.
Pathway to design
As a kid, I loved drawing and getting creative with paint, chalk, and anything else that made a mess for my parents. My journey to design was a bit of bumpy road with two unfinished degrees in film and visual art before I found my home in the design world. As they say, third time’s the charm!
While studying at QCAD, I’ve become passionate about telling stories through visuals and designing brand experiences that celebrate fun. Now, as an emerging designer I am especially interested in collaborating with likeminded people on all things branding, illustration, and creative direction.
Outside the design world
When I'm not glued to my laptop, I love to get out and see the world — I'm an avid photographer who loves capturing memories, and a physical media enthusiast with a serious trinket collecting problem.
